Barcode

BarcodeA barcode is a method of representing data in a visual, machine-readable form. Initially, barcodes represented data by varying the widths and spacings of parallel lines. The barcode scanner that is going to read these lines emits a beam of light (visible or invisible) that passes over these lines. The light lines reflect the light beam while the dark ones do not reflect it. Thus, by measuring the reflections and the pauses of the reflections as well as their thickness, data is transferred with absolute safety!

In our laboratory, a barcode sticker is immediately pasted on all samples (which also contains information such as name, date, increasing day number). Analysts thus recognize the sample without the possibility of error.
